Happy Halloween

What a great day! I made it to my school carnival in the morning. I sure do miss my friends! I want to get out more as I am starting  to feel better. I took a long nap in the afternoon followed by visiting my Grannie and Papa. In the evening we headed to a fiends house where I spent the entire evening trick or treating with another Elsa and Little Mermaid! Can you say DREAM COME TRUE!

Famous Dave's was a blast!

I had a great time seeing everyone! I got to play with a lot of my friends I haven't seen in awhile. Some of my parents friends came, some of my brothers friends, and some of my friends. Over 70 people showed up. We handed out shirts, glow sticks, candy bags and ate yummy BBQ! Thank you all for coming and getting the spirit of the walk started! I can not wait to see you all again Saturday! We also reached our goal of raising $35,000 for the walk! How awesome is that?

Interm Maintenance 2

Finally started my last phase of "Intensive" chemotherapy. I started my morning early with a blood draw to check my counts. I waited for what seemed like forever to get the results. I just barely made counts. My ANC (immune system) recovered enough to begin the next round! Great news that I'm getting closer to the end of the hard chemo. The bad news is I have to start my next round. I then have to be sedated for a lumbar puncture in the morning then a doctor visit in the afternoon. Dr. Baskin said I'm looking great! We talked a lot about the next phase and what studies are available for my treatment. My next phase after this is two years long. But for now I'm off to clinic to see some of my favorite nurses and get my chemotherapy. Today it is vincristine and methotrexate. I will get this same chemotherapy every ten days with increased doses ever week. I have done this round before but never at this amount. Last time it was lots of throwing up and mouth sores.

Condors game!!

What a great time I had! I loved cheering, dancing and singing with friends! I even made it on the Jumbotron!! It was a fun way to raise money for a good cause! Thank you everyone who came. XOXO

Almost started my final phase of Intensive chemotherapy.

I went down to Hollywood on Wednesday because I had a Lumbar Puncture scheduled for this morning. I am always nervous about getting anesthesia. I don't like the taste it gives me in my mouth. My brother got to come with us this time. He was lucky and got to play hookie from school. I got to CHLA early and had labs drawn and got prepped for surgery. Then the nurses came in and told me that my immune system is to low. I also didn't have enough platelets to continue my chemotherapy. They said I get another week off!! I actually skipped out of the doctors office!!

I have a large birth mark on the side of my head. When my hair grows out of the birth mark it is black
